Babies, preschoolers and kids up to 12 years of age can enjoy fun, caring, innovative development programs at a state-of-the-art childcare and education center that offers several locations in the state of Utah. From infant exercises to STEM projects, age-appropriate learning is available for every child.
Smart Kids provides learning services for children up to 12 years of age. Specially designed classrooms are bright, colorful and spacious and there are different areas of interest appropriate to each age group. Infants and toddlers have their own pre-school environment while older children work with computers and engage in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) projects. The center’s lead teachers, many of whom are bilingual, all hold a CDA degree or higher and run Grant School District, Head Start, Passport and V-Math programs.
Your children are in safe hands with staff members who have undergone complete background checks as well as health evaluation. Teachers also take 40 hours of early childhood continuing education annually to keep current on the newest teaching techniques. All are certified in first aid and CPR.
Creativity is encouraged, as well as exploration and discovery as they pertain to everyday experiences. Children can participate in arts and crafts fun, music, games and psycho-motor activities. The center’s summer program includes weekly field trips to museums, the zoo, public gardens, libraries and other destinations of interest to kids. In addition to outings, there are various summertime activities such as bowling, swimming and cooking. Paint shirts are provided for messy projects, but your child should always wear clothing that is comfortable and washable. Remember that there will be outside activities daily, so clothing should be appropriate for the season and the weather.
